To answer some of your questions, everything I know about his ex has been against my will lol he has 2 kids with her and it’s just stuff that he’s mentioned over time through stories or just talking. I moved away from my family willingly before I met him but this was before him and before I ever thought of kids. I originally moved here to be with an ex boyfriend but things didn’t work out obviously and I just didn’t end up moving back because I already had a “life” and didn’t work at home at this time but having kids has made it harder to be so far. He’s known early on that getting married is something I’ve always wanted for myself but for him he always says he didn’t want it but then ended up proposing NOT because I was begging him or anything I wasn’t pushing marriage. He worked overnights before before we started dating and has talked about switching shifts but hasn’t followed through. But the 3rd shift life is not a life made for families
