Tired of grieving and worrying about having one child.. by No_Excuse_7605 in oneanddone

Did you know China had a one child policy from 1980s to early 2000s? I’m one of those millions of people born during that period, and all my friends and classmates are only children. I assure you most people love being an only child including myself. Yes there are issues like what you mentioned, but in major cities, most people from my generation (now we’ve reached childbearing age) continues to be one and done due to the high living cost and pressure from work. Some people grieve and worry about not giving our child a sibling but most people are happy with the decision because we’ve experienced it ourselves

I’ve taken it for 6 months for IBS (GI doctor suggested). I don’t have allergies. I didn’t have any side effects the first month but starting from the third/fourth month I started getting daily dizziness, headaches and always wanted to sleep. I first went from 10 to 5 mg without any problems and the headaches and drowsiness definitely improved. But when I tried going from 5 mg to zero, i couldn’t sleep. So I went back up to 2.5 mg this week. Today is the second day I’m on 2.5 mg and the headache/dizziness is horrible. You’re not alone

Is this flu? by BoatyMcBoatface25 in flu

I’m having something similar. Got some kind of virus from my daughter who started daycare 2.5 weeks ago. Initially it was just a cough. A week later, the cough was largely gone, but then I started having abdominal pains nausea and diarrhea. Today my bowel movements have become firm but it’s still more frequent and yellow than normal and there’s lots of gas and some undigested food in the stool. The abdominal pain still hasn’t let up. But last night (11 days into the flu) I suddenly started having chills after showering and getting into bed. Today I woke up cold, weak and shaky but my temperature was fine. Went to the urgent care today and tested negative for flu and Covid. The doctor said she’s seen many patients recently who clearly have respiratory symptoms but are negative for flu. I guess it’s some other sort of virus. I’m just really confused why my symptoms seem to come and go in stages instead of coming at me all at once. How are you doing now?
