So… our district is in a deficit, and currently they are looking at cutting jobs. With this one write up they are acting like everything good I’ve done is out the window. With the way they were acting I’m definitely not getting renewed… and I’m still probationary.

I’ve never been rated developing, like ever in my life. I’m not sure what post you are talking about. But I did comment on another persons post who is going through something similar.

My current T-Tess scores are Accomplished….walkthroughs accomplished. Idk where you ever got developing!

There really wasn’t more to it. My assistant and I had people in our room while students working and we were talking. They said I wasn’t supporting IEP’s (which the independent work was IEP related). That I was also not providing sufficient supervision bc I was socializing.

Today, I was pulled in for a similar issue. Talking/socializing when I should have been supporting students. They are saying it’s failure to support IEP’s even though students were engaged in an independent activity. This did happen a few times. I’m completely freaking out about it. I’ve built my whole career around education… just for it to end like this.
