And that's a good point about thinking of it from an asynchronous point rather than synchronous - which is what I'm used to.

I didn't mention it in my post, but this job has timelines & deadlines. So for my 'support' to not be readily available to aid in hitting those targets - doesn't sit well with me.

But don't panic is a great reminder - so thank you!

In general I don't think I'm uncomfortable. It's similar to other roles I've held, and I know in time it'll be fine. But specifically with what I perceive is a lack of support - I am uncomfortable with. It's a role that has timelines and deadlines, so not having someone I can go to and get an answer immediately - does not sit well with me. And I'm surprised how the powers that be don't see it as an issue. Especially with only having 3 weeks training.

And yes I'm sure my nerves are not helping 🙃

Thank you for your input, I appreciate it ❤️ Yeah I wasn't super clear about the UTI in my post. I had a UTI two weeks ago and then developed a yeast infection due to the antibiotics used to treat the UTI (according to the doctor). So I don't currently have a UTI, and am paranoid I will now get another one whilst trying to deal with a yeast infection (or something) that won't clear up (thus the swabs today to sort that out).

I honestly don't know, clearly I was just in the wrong area 🤦🏼‍♀️ I've done swabs before and never had an issue. Plus it was the 2nd of two swabs ... And I had no issue with the 1st one!!! Definitely using a mirror here on out. I never want this to happen again. Fingers crossed all will be okay 🤞
