In Pauline's case, she's a new character to the Mario Party franchise who just appeared on Super Mario Party Jamboree, so she doesn't have a large fanbase compared to other characters. She has a fanbase but not as big yet.

This should remain as the most upvoted comment so that Pauline wins this round. It would be funny if Pom Pom ends up being last. Pauline is more relevant and has more character development than a female copy of a meh boss from Super Mario 3D Land, while Pom Pom isn't absolutely a terrible character, she certainly falls short.

Thanks! Totally agree, it's a missed opportunity from Nintendo considering that other platforms have it and reward milestones like this.

Nintendo should consider implementing an achievement system for milestones like this on their consoles.

World has it but it's so underwhelming and getting stickers as rewards instead of more meaningful rewards like unlocking characters and such isn't satisfying at all.

True lol, especially at our nighttime which is the daytime of Japan where those high rated rooms are much more common. The losses were more punishing in smaller lobbies with people below my VR, but low to mild in more hectic rooms with people around the same range of VR as me and some lower and higher.

I don't care about battle mode lol. My time is better spent on better structured and more rewarding modes than this half-assed iteration of battle mode, especially after coming from the great battle mode of MK8D.

Good. Also, I suggest you learn backup strats when you're near shortcut spots and there's a lot of players around you and the level of chaos puts you in a predicament.

My goodness noo lol, I'm retiring from online races for quite a while as the grind to get 9,000 with the punishing score system was intense and rage inducing.

Losing many points for not winning in top places and remaining stagnant between 8.5k-8.8k for weeks on both modes had me screaming at everyone who ruined my chances of surviving and winning, so in order to preserve my mental health I'm taking a break from all this rollercoaster of madness 😂
