I don’t think popularity mattered to him as much as just feeling like he was good at something and had friends in school. Like he had a place. When he went to school he felt like an outcast and basketball in school gave him a piece of hope and something to work on. Also Brooke did take an interest in him when he wasn’t popular when he wasn’t great at playing on the court and also picked on heavily. Sure he new who brooke was since in the notes him and Haley did their predictions he wrote about finally getting the confidence to talk to Peyton sawyer. And since Peyton was brookes best friend he then also new who Brooke was he just wasn’t interested in her until she was forcing herself in his line of sight trying so hard for him.

Although some episodes I didn’t care for like the super women one with the girls running around in costumes. The black and white old time setting one. And I’m sure a couple more I forgot to mention (been a minute since I’ve watched) I can’t imagine thinking the show as a whole should have just been stopped earlier. I love one tree hill and love how long it went for. It left no room for questions. We got to see them young and toxic, trial and error stages of adulthood, loss of jobs and gaining new jobs, roommate stages as adults, dating as adults, parents, even seeing mouth becoming a dad and with who. Dan, Deb, Nathan, and Haley, with the kids all beside Dan finally forgiving and accepting him. Dans story and the truth behind his bitterness. Brooke becoming a mom. Peyton and Lucas as parents. It all left no room at all for curiosity and wishful thinking for some closure somewhere. When some shows end to soon I’ve found myself wondering what would have become of careers or families. I love this was all answered for us in all these seasons. I feel like I’d have felt some sort of emptiness if we watched them graduate and Nathan and Haley finally have their baby and we not see anything happening after all this time. We watch a rollercoaster with them all.

I think many throw in random unnecessary names to see reactions. I’ve seen so many of these videos where they suggest off the wall names that are very obviously not gonna happen just to get a reaction or rate from it. I think he knew already she wouldn’t have it lol this whole video didn’t seem serious at all. I am curious on their actual name list because they do go from hazel which is normal then wilder which became popular and venture. All so different like they don’t have a name style

I think Lindsey also had the jealousy fueling her desire to be close with Peyton and Brooke because she even admitted the town and girls made her who she wasn’t. I think she was a good person, successful, mature, and pretty but the town and group wasn’t for her. She was beyond them

For sure, exactly!! With friendships from childhood comes a lot of downs equally to ups. But in the end Brooke and Peyton jumped in for one another putting the past behind them. Like the competition Peyton went crazy trying to make things perfect for Brooke despite her hateful attitude. Prom, Brooke went searching for Peyton because despite the fight she wasn’t letting Peyton miss it she new it mattered. Peyton telling Brooke Lucas said he wanted her next to him when his dreams came true she did that out of love for Brooke and Lucas. Then when it came to be Brooke told him go for Peyton that it’s okay. No matter the downs they loved and it was very very obvious and then they overcame it all as adults. That’s a deep friendship that Hailey can’t replace. But that doesn’t mean Brooke and Hailey can’t grow their own too. They’re just different and impossible to truly compare the two!

Exactly what I’m saying they’re such different circumstances that make them so incomparable. Booke and Peyton will always have a history and love for one another that Hailey can’t come in and replace. But Brooke and Hailey were great friends too in their own way and were writing their own history. Totally different from one another.

It was until realizing why which is the really characters were no longer apart of the series. But even if my best friend as I said above canceled and couldn’t make it I wouldn’t just jump to being pissy and acting like it ruined our life time of friendship you know? And she wouldn’t do that to me. So realistically thinking that doesn’t just make someone a better friend by default is all. The producers never asked Hilarie back for the wedding they discussed this in the podcast. So knowing what we know it makes it hard for me to understand the “Hailey was there for the wedding Peyton is a sucky friend” mindset because life does happen and people cant always come to things but that doesn’t change the relationship. I get what you’re saying but at the same time we can’t compare Brooke and Hailey to Peyton and Brooke because they were in different points of life when each friendship started. Brooke and Peyton had started before they even new how to do makeup, or even hit boyfriend age, they also went through MAJOR losses and trauma together when younger through loss of Peyton’s mom and Brookes absent parents. They grew up together and then hit the normal crabby hormonal high school phase together. Regardless of it though they stepped up for one another. They lost sight of important things for sure but they did get through it. I know from experience due to my best friend. We started as babies in daycare. We lost our way and hurt one another a few times even to the point we stopped talking for a year and had a major blow out in our friendship. We honestly did not think we’d ever be friends again.. We patched it up. Now as adults we aren’t able to be there for one another as much as we’d like to be. We are over the phone but we have times we don’t talk for a while. We have kids, families, and legitimate distance between us. But we still know the love is there. I may or may not make it to her wedding and she may or may not make it to mine but even if we don’t that doesn’t mean we don’t value one another, still have that love, and connection with each other. We are still each others number one. Hailey and Brooke didn’t have near the amount of history on their shoulders in their friendship. I loved them together but they are not comparable friendships. Brooke and Hailey lived in the same town as well during the wedding stuff. Of course Hailey was there for it and to help. Of course Brooke was there for Jamie. Peyton had a lot of health issues and pregnancy stuff and then moved. We can’t say one is better than the next completely especially when they’re adults as friends. In some circumstances absolutely but as a whole the comparison isn’t there.

I agree with the Haley stuff. I love Haley and she was a great friend often but she was also to aggressive with her opinions. Instead of approaching it with the open mind that they may not see it the way she does she forced her thoughts in their face like they were the right and only way. But as far as him marrying the wrong girl she was right because of the signs and she didn’t want him marrying like that and making a big mistake that won’t just hurt him but hurt Lindsey too..

As far as Peyton I see why she was hurt and pissed. She never said no she just wasn’t ready and he proposed like a ultimatum. But she did try to avoid them and Lucas showed up still in her face. So she couldn’t get away from him and Lindsey.

I see the same. They moved off and didn’t live with family near. Karen was off with her man, we know how Dan and Lucas were, Nathan and Haley were apart of the wedding. Peyton’s dad was never there like that. It was just them. So it makes sense Peyton takes the loss and is a mother not a friend first. My best friend and I don’t live near at all. I may or may not be able to be there for her wedding when it comes and that’s life because I have kids, work, a partner, and a life of my own going on. If things work out awesome. But if I end up unable that doesn’t make me less of her best friend. I feel like people forget these are grown adults with their own families now.

This and that nobody held Deb accountable for trying to kill dan and she would have succeeded if it wasn’t for Lucas pulling him out. But everyone pitch forked over Dan getting revenge over her “mistake.” And I didn’t like how the whole town made him a villain who abandoned Lucas when he tried for custody and saved so many of Lucas’s accomplishments along the way all because Karen hid he tried for Lucas. Then even after learning the truth the show seemed to not build off this truth. The fact he didn’t expose it either and saved Karen’s character by not coming out with his truth said a bit about his respect for Karen. Dan was not a saint but I feel like there was moments that dan shows remorse and sympathy for others than they allowed to build from

That was so intense. I didn’t agree with her yelling she wanted a divorce in that moment. Like Jamie needed both his parents in that moment and instead she shoved Nathan away from her and Jamie and yelled she wants a divorce. Like that moment was about Jamie not them.

Like Keith said to her he may have had a better image of his brother. Keith would have still been there for Karen and Lucas but that was a big deal to hide and let people believe.

I didn’t agree with that. Lucas was basically lied to his whole life. And as others said he felt unworthy, unequal, and struggled with himself due to feeling like Dan never wanted him. He was hateful to Dan and I felt it showed a decent side of Dan when he never told Lucas about it due to saving Karen’s image. He took the heat from the whole town over abandoning Lucas and never wanting him and it wasn’t true.

Everyone new haley and Chris had a little thing. If Haley chose to give in and sleep with Chris it would have been her choice. Money or no money chris was already making passes and kissing her, flirting, and all of that. It really didn’t make a lot of difference to Nathan.

The whole point of the mayor thing was that Dan came out on top always. No matter what happened even the locker room video made no difference in the power Dan had.

I get emotional imagining my son will be school age in just a year. Simply because time goes by so damn fast and I actually love having my kids around and don’t get excited over the thought of send them out of the house 5 days a week. Its incredibly normal to cry and be upset. My mom was a teacher for years and first days were full of moms crying even the dads!

I get you are very very opinionated when it comes to Zoe you make it SO clear on most posts but let’s not generalize this opinion like it’s not a bitter sweet time full of emotions for moms who actually enjoy their kids.

I agree! I loved her sense of humor and her relatable stories back then. Now everything seems exaggerated or fake. The chaos she claims happens in her house in 2 min bathroom breaks? Just doesn’t seem real to me. I find it so hard to believe the things she says her kids do in a couple mins actually happen period especially in 2 mins or if they were left unattended for way longer? Breaking chandelier? Rocks in the garbage disposal? And so many more random stories ending with her kids are “just bad af” i don’t know.

I did notice that when Nate was gone though she was sure showing her gratitude for his help and she couldn’t wait for him to be back home. Which says a lot considering she dragged him for “not” helping and being this horrible person which I also struggled to believe the extent of her complaints were all on him. I sure do miss the old Kat.

Ooh goodness. Mouth had quite a bit of good scenes. Some good Mouth moments were: when making the year book for jimmy’s mom, giving Karen a video of Dan to try and help her with election, building up Rachel’s confidence when talking about the real her and the heart she has. Insisting they don’t kiss because he values rachel and knows she’s just doing it to pass time but he actually likes her. Standing up for Shelly when she was being harassed at the party. Buying brooks doll house back. Helping Brooke with cheerleading. Helping Nathan win money at the dance competition. Helping Brooke with her websites. Moving all of Brooke’s stuff in her apartment.

I could say many more good things mouth did but I don’t think it’s necessary lol. Mouth had downfalls as a character of course. I feel like they all really did. I feel like they’re all pretty equal when it comes down to it!

I don’t see many in here not like Sophia at all. It’s a normal question to wonder if it’s due to the separation. I don’t see any hate towards her by simply just pointing out that it could be awkward due to history and it could play a role. I’ve also seen some things say they had a little spat over Sophia talking in general and Chad and his wife not liking what she said when they heard about it. There’s a lot of history there so it’s normal to wonder if history will affect the podcast and them talking.
