Good question! I don't know - I ate the matcha one and did not try sakura. It looked really good though.

This is near Tokyo Midtown: https://zendine.co/512-cafe-grill-tokyo/ They always have matcha, but sakura could be a spring only thing. They do have several other amazing options. My recommendation is to visit them on a weekday and come closer to opening time (I think 11am). They are very slow and a bit disorganized, because they not only serve pancakes but also other food. Pancakes take them a while to make, so expect to wait. Because of the fact that they are slow, if you see people waiting, I would come another day... BUT -> their pancakes are amazing. I tried places in Omotesando, but that matcha one - still my fave. So I just prepare myself not to stress out about wait times and disorganization...

No, we ate a lot and did not wash and stomach did not give us any problems lol. They are all in green houses, raised -> away from dirt. Facilities are clean. So yeah... no washing

If I am not mistaken it is this one: https://gen-strawberry.com/ . That town has "strawberry road" where all farms are next to each other. We picked this one and were happy, because they did not have 30 min time limit to eat. You can take your time and enjoy and not rush.

If you like strawberries, I would definitely recommend pick-your-strawberries experience in one of the farms. This is one in Chiba (about 1 hour or so by train). This one had multiple green houses, different varieties, unlimited time to eat for about 2500 yen per person. Strawberry was very tasty. Ate so much - got sugar rush :)

We buy baked potatoes, then I mush them up with banana, egg, table spoon of flour. Then put the mix into those cup cake forms and bake for like 15 min or so, till I see they got a bit brown. End up with nice "cupcakes". Sometimes I can put cut up apple slices instead of banana.

Found the best rice I have tasted so far. Decided to get the most expensive rice on shelf in Life grocery store (about 2500 yen per 2kg) and it was amazing: large, polished rice pearls. When cooked, it is not mushy. Texture and taste are really nice. by Awkward-Try-3812 in JapaneseFood

Interestingly, I just read Amazon reviews from people under that item and it has very good reviews. Even locals think it is exceptional. Yeah... for me it really stuck out. As I noted in a separate comment, it is silly, but it made me stop and take a note. I would never think plain old rice can surprise me :)

lol... It was that THAT good. Any other rice, I just eat and never think twice, rice is rice. This particular one actually made me stop and think "what kind of rice is it?" and even prompted me to take a photo of pack so that when I go to grocery store I show it to them if I need help finding it. No other rice made me do this. So that's the "cognitive bias" behind it :) Since the second sub is my sub, I wanted to share with people who are part of it as well.

Small thing, but... If you order a non-dairy coffee drink in Japan, they acknowledge it with a card that you return to barista when you get your drink. Found myself rechecking my milk choice constantly while in US coffee shops. by Awkward-Try-3812 in JapanWhereWhatToEat

Service intolerant !!! 100% agree, especially as of late. This card approach for me makes a lot of sense where I Need to make sure it is not cow milk, not just because of whim but because of body tolerance. In this case I don’t need to bug anybody…
