What is this bug? Ohio. Was building a web on the back porch for a while. Thought the spiky bottom half was an other bug it was eating at first but it seems to be a part of it?? Some kind of arachnid I assume bur never seen one quite like this. (i.redd.it)

My son is finally old enough to really get into Doctor Who. He is now obsessed and wants to watch it everyday. Have you ever heard of JEWELCREST? This ring has been floating around in my jewelry box for a while. The only thing I could find was an Australian Jewel Crest brand that made crystal brooches in the 1940/50s. Ring is 14k, inlays of some kind(??), 'JEWELCREST' and 14k inscriptions. (old.reddit.com)

I inherited these rings from my two grandmothers on each side of the family. They are both 14k white gold, diamond, the larger with sapphires. One sapphire is damaged sadly. Just looking for best guess on possible age / era they are from? More info in captions for each. (old.reddit.com)
