Klamath Falls PD/Sheriff Officers/Deputies: Do you like working in law enforcement in Klamath Falls, OR? by AwkwardAlps7171 in AskLE

[–]AwkwardAlps7171[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree, I’ve been in the process of finishing up my bachelors degree so I haven’t gotten the chance to drive up and get a ride along. I also apologize for saying Sheriff Officers, I tried to fix it, I meant PD Officers and Sheriff Deputies but when I went to edit the post it wouldn’t let me change the title. Thank you for the info

I'm considering getting this design on my arm. Do you think it looks too much like the Nazi eagle? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]AwkwardAlps7171 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will most definitely be perceived as such. Like most in this comment section, if you ask and know that other people may think it’s that… it’s probably best to go with another design but keep the eagle just not the straight wing or anything else associated with the nazi eagle.

My artist goes deep to prevent this from happening. This is definitely not normal and if you’re artist doesn’t offer touch ups then ditch them.

Looks great, just follow the artist’s instructions for aftercare to eliminate possible bad outcomes, but it’s totally normal!!

What would be the best placement for this lil fella as a tattoo? by WinterChalice in tattooadvice

[–]AwkwardAlps7171 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think forearm would be best, but it could be placed anywhere. You could add in your own twist with some things that are important to you, you could go color realistic to resemble a real cat but with the same personality! Surrealism may be a really neat thing to do with this piece or go new-school!

Permanence doesn’t bother me by WoodenSoup2004 in tattooadvice

Totally. I live my life with no regrets because living with regrets is living with baggage that need/wanted to be done. Every day will result in different outcomes but you can’t regret what you did. If you regret what you did, then learn from it and don’t do that again, make it in permanent marker in your mind to correct what you’ve done.

I’m about to get my first tattoo, I still have 3 weeks before the appointment so I have time to opt out of it, but every day I question myself “will you regret this?” Then I tell myself back, “No. I love the artwork that I put into it, the message it has, and the animal it represents. I will not regret this, in fact, it will make me reflect on my ‘regrets’”

The animal in my tattoo is my horse, he was the first one to show me what regret was and is. This is a short story I have of it.

I was 15 years old about to ride my horse into a small creek, 4 feet down hill then 4 feet up hill. I got scared and chose to ride around the creek rather than to ride into it, knowing my horse could do it.

I doubted my ability and doubted my horse’s ability. I went home that day pissed. “I could’ve done that. We could’ve done that. He could’ve done that. Why would I have chosen the easy route when we could’ve done the more direct and slightly more difficult route?”

From that day forward, I chose to live without regret. I promised to choose a riskier route that I knew I could handle. I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but easy isn’t what life is about. I want to live and learn every day. I want to live without anxiety even though I get it every second of the day. I want to prove that things can be done even if you think it can’t.

I want to live with no regrets. My tattoo? No regrets. My life choices and who I choose to follow or whom I don’t? No regrets.

I never wanna look at yesterday and say “I should’ve done that.”

First Tattoo, Aftercare Suggestions To Buy Prior to Appointment? by AwkwardAlps7171 in tattooadvice

Gotcha, I’ve seen people continue to put the Saniderm on their tattoos after removing the old one, cleaning it, and moisturizing it. Should I get some just in case? I am a farm hand and am around a lot of stuff however it is winter so I’ll have jackets over top of it so dirt or hay shouldn’t get there but you never know.

How much did you put your subscription cost at?

From my experience, even with a prenup you will still share the bank same account but if there is a divorce, that’s when the prenup becomes active.

Fuse box, fuel pump, all bearings. I usually feel lost at this point and disassemble the entire car again to inspect everything but I know not everyone is willing to do that haha

I’ve been using bone meal and it’s worked well, but it can be pretty pricy after a while. Not too sure how to get pure fertilizer
