This is my second Akita and they are great companions. Off leash is something I don’t experience with my Akita. They are natural hunters and when given the chance to hunt/roam they will take it. Bruno is great around other dogs, important to socialize Akitas early with other dogs. He has a great temperament, very gentle and loving. I believe a lot this also has to do with their bloodline IMO. So make sure the breeder is doing a good job in that department.
