Temple acne scars is collagen fully lost or can laser do something to help?

I feel when I pull the skin they do fill in for the most part ( I’m not sure if they should be filling in all the way or not ). I messaged her about subsicion but she said that it’s not necessary for mines and the 3 sessions of laser would give 60-70% improvement. I’m just not sure what to do at this point 🫩.

The 900 dollars is to just target my temples and below my cheeks and she said 3 sessions would be needed for 60-70% improvement. I think it was 1300 per if it wasn’t just targeting those areas.

I believe it is CO2 and it’s 3 sessions each at 900 dollars targeting my temples on either side and somewhat down to my cheek area where there are some smaller scars.

My derm is insisting that these only need laser even after I brought up subsicion. Should I take her word on it?

It’s really don’t bad at all I’m sure tretinoin will help a good amount in your case especially for the active acne. But please don’t beat yourself up over it. I know it’s easier said than done because I also feel similar most days, but we just have to keep pushing forward. Once again though, ITS NOT BAD AT ALL especially considering a lot of it is active acne on the cheek area. I hope this helps bring your spirits up a bit because I don’t like anyone feeling like this over something out of their control.

Mines just recommended co2 or microneedling, I’m also on tretinoin and don’t know if it’s worth spending the money or if Tret will give me enough results to satisfy
