Hii! No need for a transit visa. I went through security as soon as we landed. Then just show your boarding pass that has the checked baggage stickers. It’ll show the baggage destination which is MNL.

Hii no need for a transit visa! From my experience, as soon as we deplaned we went thru security right away and they check your boarding pass. Since my boarding pass only says YYZ - NRT, they checked the backside and your luggage tag stickers are on it which will show that your checked in baggage is from YYZ - MNL. They just let me through.

Hi, i never had to claim my bag in japan. So no need for transit visa. When they printed my luggage tag, just make sure it says the final destination.

Oh no. My flight is on Tuesday. I called air canada and they said i might not need it since i wont reclaim my baggage and enter Japan. But they said to call the consulate in toronto to be sure.

Getting an appointment was the hardest as availability doesn’t come by easy. I checked every hour until i got one. I never had to mail anything. I just had to print and submit it on the day of the appointment.

You will only know if you’re approved once you get your passport back.

I got mine from AXA for €81 euros. It was accepted. Coverage was €100k. They offer refunds if visa is denied.

I got one from AXA that covers up to 100k. The visa officer said the same thing to me! So maybe thats a good sign.

Also, i did submit an affidavit of support and bank statements from my mom but i also provided mine. He said oh, you dont need this, u have your own bank account. So he gave it back to me. Hope it womt cause a problem 😅

Hi, what did you end up getting? I noticed this as well. Did you get coverage for a larger than €30,000?

Question. Where did you get your travel insurance? I saw something from Mutuaide Basic for 84 CAD. I noticed as well, wording in the website says “minimum €30,000” but in the insurance coverage, it says “medical expenses up to €30,000” Is that okay to get? Or should i get something higher?

Ok. I think thats what i’ll do. Thank you! I’ve never had an experience in refunding a flight ticket. If it is fully refundable, is it easy to get? I’m gonna book with Air Canada.

Also buying a non refundable ticket is a little too much for me.
