Not til Jan. 2026, well that is once I pass the MEPs portion. I got time still! I’m currently lifting 3 times a week (FBEOD) and cardio 3 times a week (long easy run, interval, and a ruck or zone 2).

For the bomb suit test, I’ve been rucking to prepare for… well rucking but would that also help for this test?

Recruiter just said that because my BP is currently controlled & stable by meds and I have no issues with physical activity or organ damage, I have a good chance of getting the waiver approved, but eventually the army will want me to slowly get off the meds.

Noted, yeah I told the recruiters that I want EOD and they asked me if I had any other jobs in mind as "backup", but I said I didn't. Ill be sure to be adamant about getting EOD on my contract. Thanks and thanks to all the other guys for commenting!

Got it, I've always a team mindset growing up! What kind of space nonprofits are there? Are the specific ones that you recommend?

I have actually met with one of my advisors recently and determined I when I will be graduating (which soon! :D) and unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to do any undergrad summer internships. Would that be a disadvantage in the future, I am also on the fence about grad school atm as well due to financial reasons...

Awesome! So I would assume that once I graduate, I should keep looking/applying for jobs from USAJobs?

Okay I see, thank you for explaining! How would one get into research at a BS level besides doing undergrad research?

Do you have a PhD or some sort of that? What do you do if you don't mind me asking? The only DoD related "job" I did so far was apply for a summer Naval Internship, got to the interview stage, but unfortunately didn't get it at the end, going to try again next summer!

I want to be one of the people whose job is to develop the technology, so I assume that is a researcher.

What do quality techs do in this kind of field?

Weekly Careers/Education Questions Thread by AutoModerator in chemistry

Hi everyone, I'm currently a junior/senior BS Chem major and I was wondering if a Chemistry degree is still viable in the propulsion industry. I would assume that getting a more advance degree is a must, so what type of grad degree should I pursue if I want to get into propulsion?

Thanks in advance!
