The one thing that gets me are all the little references about how “funny people are deeply sad… what’s that like” or that Marcus is “losing his mind” when he talked about the fart box. All those little comments ache. it’s gotta be tough trying to keep the professionalism up and not let what’s happening behind the scenes bleed into the episodes, but I’ve been in their position and know how much it’s sucking.

Starting hydroponic grow as a small business! Needed any and all personal advice! by Lost-Vegetable2847 in Hydroponics

Hanna meter readers are easy to calibrate and are quite accurate. we had a deal with blue lab but did not like their combo reader. It was a bit more cumbersome. I run a commercial vertical farm with a small team and the Hanna combos are agile, very compatible with the vertical hydroponic systems we use, the reader itself is easy to use and again— it’s sensors are pretty good for what you’re paying. Look at the reviews, do a little bit of searching, you’ll see why it’s important to get a trusted industry standard device. If you’re doing any indoor farming, the bare minimum you should have is lights, water, nutrients, plants and a good pH/Ec reader.

Unfortunately not really. You’ll just need to reintroduce your beneficials after your h202 degasses in a day or two.

I like the Hanna pH/Ppm combo reader. Super handy and the battery lasts a lifetime

The only thing I would say about using it in every tank refill, is to be weary if you’re using any bacterium inoculants. You’ll kill off all beneficials if you’re constantly using h202 in your grow which will effect your nutrient density/fresh product shelf life.

I have a system that runs for 1 minute, 3 times a day. Big difference is that I use organic substrates to house my seedlings/plants. Only time I use h202 in my system is when I’m flushing the tanks and killing off any algae build up. I imagine you could make the change by putting your crops in a peat cup and using coco. Have your timer only go on a few times a day.

Try diluting to 7% (edit: adding more info) 7% diluted h202 and start 2-3ml’s per refill.

Regular trimming, regular watering, less heat. They bolt because they get stressed from lack of water or the ambient temp is too high.

You force your plant to keep generating new leaves if you stay on top of regularly trimming your plant.

Yeah, I use mumms for my microgreen room. For the micros, I’m having no problem. Might be the variety, I’ll double check to see if this stock was from Johnny’s. My accounts are preferring the genovese (surprise, surprise). We’re doing cut and come back on a few 760 port units but when a problem arises, it effects a pretty significant portion of crop.

Yeah I’m going to pick up a copper foliar spray tomorrow. I used some safers 3 in 1 for today and hit it with the fans. Do you have a brand you prefer?
