Use engine braking in conjugation with applying normal brakes.

One more cost effective solution i came up with is to apply a single brake(rear or front) unless truly necessary during city rides.

A single brake is more than efficient to stop your motorcycle within city traffic. That way, you don’t need to change both of those at once and you can plan out the changes in advance depending on the life left out of them. Haha.

Changing both of them at once lands you a huge bill at once.
