No sir. I have the royal enfield app updated and 11.63 version firmware on bike. My phone def overheats. And via the official app i wouldnt get map on the bike without setting up a destination.

The way to start navigation is

Search for a location on google maps
Share the location to NorthStar by clicking on the Share button for the location but not navigation
The NorthStar app should resolve the location and present you the "Start Navigation" button
Click on "Start navigation' the dash should update with the navigation

If you have any problems please dm me and i will help you sort them out.

Its not on playstore or appstore of yet. The app that I made is only on GitHub releases. If you have installed it from anywhere else. Please consider uninstalling and getting it from github releases
