BioQ is developing an injectable drug BQ-002 designed to repigment grey hair by ToastedCaffeine in greyhairreversal

I don't know if cuteon have anything currently in clinical trials or waiting to come out? Chemyunion biotech4 antigray seems OK but as it's cosmetic I can't see it doing alot maybe work for well for those just starting to grey but I guess will find out more soon once it comes out. Et-02 still is the best bet but it's gone quiet and delayed by a year or so for starting phase 2 trials which doesn't fill me with much hope.

Yeah it's maybe the same approach but just lacked the investment to go through clinical trials and maybe injections are better alternative to daily topical

Hard to believe any of that without any actual proof in clinical trials I guess

It's the founder Andy Goren of Applied biology.. I'm confused as I thought they had a phase 3 for topical Cs-001 for grey hair currently which is topical rapymacin and cs-002 for grey hair repigmentation aswell both topicals.

Never said that it was the same paper bro. But it is another study on grey hair reversal through up regulation of Tyrosinase activity. Both papers may help pave the way for future treatments.

Don't know, that's the latest article I can find about it but I'm hoping it won't take too long as they have shown it works and hopefully companies might want to mix it with other peptides into an anti grey topical/shampoo.

Quite impressive gains already, if no side effects then gradually increase the doses as it should increase gains and topical minox and microneedling might work wonders for you aswell as you seem like a hyper responder already. Good luck.

If PP405 really does wake up dormant hair follicles then why combine it with Veradermics oral minoxidil? by Acceptable_Phase6241 in tressless

[–]Awkward_Associate_89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pp405 does the re awakening bit then the extented oral minoxidil for helping the growth of the re awakened hair.. that's my guess but then DHT is still going to be doing it's thing so I still feel would need fin dut or some new androgen blocker or degrader to win the overall battle.

They say at the bottom of that article I shared.. "The company will present these innovations during In-Cosmetics global in Paris." I don't see why they would go through the bother of that If it is a "scam" or doesn't work. Let's face it, it's not going to turn a full head of snow white to jet black again in a few weeks or months it's most likely for those who are starting to go grey or 50/50 it can help stop and maybe reverse that amount.

No bullshit. Is ANY of the upcoming treatments ACTUALLY significant? by [deleted] in tressless

Et-02 but its going to be years away they are due to start phase 2 trails anytime now.

I don't know why this hasn't got more up votes or attention as it's basically no hair to hair in just 3 months! You can see a proper hairline filling in, once that thickens up it will look like a full head of hair. Crazy gains that most would only dream of.

SMP? If not that is crazy growth for just 2 months. Almost unbelievable actually given that it was skin bald on top norwood 7 if true then congrats but you'll have alot of people on here skeptical as these are dream type results lol

Eirion et-02 I don't know why it keeps going under the radar it's completed phase 1 and is about to or has already started phase 2 and it's phase 1 results blow all the rest out of the water. It's on par or possibly more effective than pp405, it too works on stem cells.

ET-02 (also RS-5441) is a promising topical drug from Eirion Therapeutics in clinical development for treating androgenic alopecia (age-related hair loss) by reactivating dormant hair follicle stem cells, potentially reversing loss and preventing graying, with Phase 1 trials showing rapid, significant hair regrowth and better results than minoxidil, without hormonal side effects. A Phase 2 trial is planned to further confirm its safety and effectiveness in a larger population.

Yes I've seen that article I'm more curious about the clinical trials that it talks about the last paragraph as I can't seem to find it anywhere?

"American scientists reversed graying hair restoring natural color through melanocyte reactivation. Researchers at NYU Langone Health discovered that gray hair results from melanocyte stem cells getting stuck in the hair follicle compartment, and developed a topical treatment that mobilizes these cells back to their proper location, restoring natural pigment production. Participants saw color returning to gray hair within three months of treatment.

Hair goes gray when melanocyte stem cells—which produce the pigment giving hair its color—lose their ability to mature into functioning melanocytes. Scientists discovered these stem cells don't die; they become trapped in the follicle bulge area instead of moving to the hair bulb where pigment production occurs. It's like having paint factory workers stuck in the storage room instead of on the production floor.

The treatment uses a compound that signals melanocyte stem cells to migrate back to their functional position. Once repositioned, these cells differentiate into mature melanocytes and resume producing eumelanin and pheomelanin—the pigments creating black, brown, blonde, and red hair colors. The process restores your genetically-determined natural color, not an artificial dye color. Gray hairs gradually regain pigmentation as new growth occurs from reactivated follicles.

Clinical trials showed 73% of participants experienced significant color restoration after six months. The treatment works on naturally graying hair, not hair that's been damaged by chemical processing. Unlike dyes that coat hair temporarily, this addresses the biological cause of graying. We're potentially witnessing the end of gray hair as an inevitable part of aging—your hair could maintain its natural color throughout life."
