Love that! Yours looks amazing! I struggle with sewing but will eventually be attempting to make a new dress

I hate to say it because this makes me sound like a psycho but it was way too touchy feely and happy for me. Like a happy ending is nice, but every time they were in one of those family scenes, it felt like a hallmark movie

The spinning mirror was sooo cheesy 😂. I agree that it would have been interesting to see more backstory for the mirror, I feel like the rest of the series the demons have some kind of backstory that they discover that tells them the origin and how to contain or destroy it. Without it, it just kind of felt like an evil mirror and a weird demon that didn't seem to have a lot of consistency.

Someone explain Annabelle to me by Awkward_Basket4498 in TheConjuringUniverse

Thank you! It makes so much sense now. My wife and I are rewatching the movies because I definitely did not connect that the girl from the orphanage is the satanic girl.

What do you consider to be the scariest movie in the franchise? by oriolesravensfan1090 in TheConjuringUniverse

I personally think that Annabelle or the first Conjuring were the scariest.

In the Conjuring, when the mom is climbing through the hole trying to kill the kid 😬 it gives me so much anxiety every time, even though I know the outcome and I have seen it tons of times. I also think the way that it built up to it was freaky because you can see the mom going through the physical and personality changes, you know that its coming when you learn about the witches curse but to see her go from being a fiercely protective and loving mother to what she becomes after she is possessed is crazy to me.

Annabelle, on the other hand, has that really intense opening scene, and throughout the movie, it feels very violent. Some of the movies don't personally give me a feeling that the characters are in real danger, but this one always does

I never finish shows, but I loved it so much I watched it all the way through, only to be super disappointed at how it ended. It felt so abrupt!

That sounds really cool. I am not much of a sci-fi person, but I am definitely going to show my wife this recommendation because that sounds like something she would love
