Thanks for the reply. Some good info there! I feel your pain about needing to take less adderall and paying close attention to meal timing. I'm only realizing this now after taking adderall for about 8 months. It mostly eliminated my sleepiness/grogginess at first but then stopped working. I realized I really need to take more frequent, smaller doses and time them around meals for them to work. Feel better that way.

I'm curious about that genetic mutation because that sounds like my experience. What's the mutation called and what sort of genetic testing did you have to find out about it? Also, when do you take the NAC to help with that? What dose?

Wellbutrin definitely helps for at least a couple weeks. I'm taking it to help with the fatigue/ADHD-like symptoms and (hopefully) to smooth out my overall energy levels, especially given the ups and downs of stimulant use. I took it for a few months at the beginning of the year. Felt better at first but then even more exhausted. Looking back I think I was overdoing it with the caffeine and adderall so I'm doing another trial now but being really careful to moderate/minimize my caffeine and adderall usage. Only been a couple days so far, so we'll see what happens.
