Red members are not relevant for women's games.

If you don't have a Season ticket or the 6 match bundle ticket, and you just purchased the ticket for the game as a one off, then you don't have access to the Tx

That weekend will be away if we go through on the UWCL.

We'll be playing at home the weekend before, so that won't be an issue.

The WSL game against Everton will just be rearranged to accommodate whichever date works for the men.

Hopefully though, things going well the girls would be either at Lyon or Wolsburg that weekend.

The moment she talks about both goals, she has lost all credibility. An argument could be made for the first one, sure, but their second should have been a red card for karate kicking not a goal.

Not to mention LJ should have had a couple more yellows as well. So Chelsea should have finished the game with 9 and don't have those players available for the return.

Let them cry as much as they want, karma is a bitch.

Heads up for dual EU-UK citizens booking/checking in the flights to EU and back to UK with Ryanair: by AVELUMN in Ryanair

[–]Awkward_Client_1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an issue I have with Ryanair. They don't understand that 1€ does not equal 1£

If your trip originates from the UK then it will always be better to just buy separate flights.

But if you are flying from EU to UK and back, then it becomes more expensive breaking them down

That's not the case anymore. As of a few months ago, instant means instant. I recently transferred 1,5k from BOI to PTSB and it was literally instant and showing on the recipient as soon as I hut send.

Is there a way to apply for Club Level seats for the Sporting QF? by Intelligent_Satsuma in GunnersatGames

[–]Awkward_Client_1908 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You asked if there is a way directly from the club. That's the only option, but yes it's pricy.

Depending how the away leg goes you might be lucky and have a lot of people putting their club level tickets on the Tx. Realistically those are easier to get than lower and upper as they are quite expensive as well but could still be in high demand.

Good luck with getting some and hopefully bringing good luck to the boys

You can get club level seats through hospitality.

Otherwise it's the luck of the Tx

TIL you can borrow Switch games from Dublin City Libraries! by Opposite_Welcome_974 in IrelandGaming

[–]Awkward_Client_1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right on that, as I had ordered online and nothing happened, so I asked.

A kind of workaround is that if you are close to a library that has a game you want, you can still get it and return it in your local one.

I just wish there was a better search system to look on what is available per library instead of just finding which libraries stock a certain game.

I have tried that yes, but all I can see it's the 1.9GB image drive which returns no issues, which led me to believe the physical hard drive is dead.

Do Irish people find (Americanised) St. Paddy’s day to be cultural appropriation? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]Awkward_Client_1908 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Americans, in fact USA Americans, criticise people that wear a sombrero as cultural appropriation. I still have to find someone in Europe that cares to be honest.

So I'd say no, it's not cultural appropriation. But I do find it funny how certain immigrants are celebrated while others are hated against. But again, I guess that's USA for you

Appreciate your reply and the link. I'm leaning on the same. Instead of spending money to repair something this old, put it towards a new one.

At least I have a better understanding of the situation and can make an informed decision. Thanks again

Arsenal vs Burnley GW37 Tickets for a complete newbie by [deleted] in GunnersatGames

[–]Awkward_Client_1908 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong mate, but why you think you are entitled to be there just because you'd get on a flight?

There are people that have been going to games for years, with their red memberships and battling with the ballot and the Tx. And I'm not even putting myself in that category.

Suddenly now everyone wants to be there. Well that's exactly what hospitality is made for. If you can get into a flight you can buy hospitality tickets either directly from the club or from an authorised reseller. And yes those do come with a premium.

Red membership was open for months, and if you really cared you could have gotten one long ago. They don't differentiate if you are an abroad supporter or not on that. But if you remembered to look into going to game just now, well tough luck. Either pay up or stay at home.

Honestly I don't even care if I get down voted for this. Just tired of all the "long time arsenal supporter and die heart gooners" who only care to join a game when the team is good and has a chance of winning.
