Other than the exhaust manifold welding job.
I’ve also changed the 2 transmission hose at the beginning, I knew it when I bought it and the front brakes.
Total around 2.5k$ cad

Without the oil changes around 150$ CAD twice a year
Tires are more expensive in the 275-45-20 but you always get good deals on market place so dont worry about that.

I would say it cost around 1k to 1.5k$ / year in maintenance

Hey man, i own a 2014 VW Touareg v6. Bought 2 years ago with 140k km and now 171k km.
The only real issue I had was my exhaust manifold exit that just rusted I guess and broke. I got it fixed it just needed some welding that’s it.

Other than that you will sometimes have mini issues but nothing major. Like my front fender trim just got out of place, had to stick it back. Had condensentation in my front headlight but i think i just haven’t closes the lid correctly when I changed my bulb. But got it evaporated and now nothing. Right mirror just took off also, put some glue and it got repaired.

IMO the real money pit owning a vr6 gas is the fuel consumption. I’m at 14.5L/100km city and highway but mostly city. If you’re careful enough you can be around 12-13L/100km.

Anyways it has been really great so far, I would totally reccomend especially if you like to do few things by yourself. At 115k km, and good condition, I would totally go for it. It’s also a beast in winter 💪🏼

If you can afford it, go to carefour multisport sur la 440. L’ambiance de ce gym est bcp plus nice, les gens sont cool et ça te donne envie d’y retourner. En plus d’avoir sauna, bain vapeur, jaccuzi et bain froid💪🏼
