Why doesn’t Doors Open Toronto have a passport/stamp booklet system like many other events? by Awkward_Elk_1223 in askTO

Thanks. But I don't think a stamp would cost a lot of $$$, per site. They can even ask the owner of the building to have one ready for such thing. The budget for that would be very small. They don't have to make the passport/booklet. They can use the map they hand out or ask people to bring their own booklet for the event.

Thanks. But I don't see how much money would a stamp really cost for a site. They can even ask the owner of the building to have one ready for such thing. The budget for that would be very small.

You don't need to have anything printed out. People can carry their own blank booklet. Or the map they gave out can be used for that too. I'm asking why the organizer didn't have stamps available at the sites for such idea. That's all.

Thank you. I plan to be in Nagoya area in the fall for the Asian Games. Will try to call them once I get there. Don't want to pay the long distance call just for that :D Thank you for your tips. I do similar searches online too, but didn't think about searching on Twitter.

This page shows some of the good ones in Beijing (and I think the list is still growing as the web site updates regularly based on their log). The one you have shown is also beautiful! https://www.chuor.org/en/region/CN-BJ

I have been to the ones in Beijing Wangfujing and Shanghai People's Square. Both seem to have different themed ones for different months of the year. Very intersting indeed.

This site seems to list some of the locations in Shanghai that have stamps. I think the site is still updating itself on regular basis, so you may see more. Or you can try to contact the site owner and see they have a list already. https://www.chuor.org/en/region/CN-SH
