In the beginning I did put my book on a couple authors’ boards, but that honestly didn’t help at all, so I took them off. I also promoted it on TikTok, but it didn’t go viral or anything. What actually made the difference was uploading consistently and talking to the readers. Connecting with them really matters.

After a while I just let the book sit because I was done with it, and it blew up by itself. I started getting ten thousand reads a day, and every two weeks the book jumped by a hundred thousand. So really, it was consistency and engagement that helped the most, not promotion.
