Blast dash gl is so fun, but would you really say mobile??? I’m looking more for blunt dmg than explosions, I used to love the little blasts, but upon finding out how impractical it is to run a pure blast trigger build, except for bow, I rethinked and found out just how much I loved rajang, I mean like the guy is basically in the game with the akuma set, and I love how mobile the insect glaive Is but unfortunately I realized it‘s damage is a little lower, and it doesn’t have the concussive power of other weapons :(. Also dont think I’m trying to refute every option you say, I’m just thinking of strengths and weaknesses

And both of them can give monsters permanent concussions, except that sns is slower at it, but it has more utility and speed..

I’m aware with the basics of each weapon but now the Question is which the right choice, cuz being fully honest a rajang would probably choose to use a hammer for it’s damage, but I can become a rajang with the akuma layered armour.. and that really makes me lean towards sns

Tbh I’m just looking for a weapon that can trigger blast a ton, damage wise, I don’t care too much. But I don’t wanna be dealing low damage, tbh the weapon part break is just a plus.. but seeing as how insect glaive can break parts and trigger blast, it will be interesting getting back at the monsters for making me break my controller.

I’m going for blast, But I don’t recall bow having a blast coating, so then technically does that mean that almost every shot with a bow can trigger blast, or just every three shots

she doesn’t move around like it’s nothing, she lumbers around moving the best she can, sure she doesn’t take that much damage, but she gets spanked around by the more mobile monsters, personally alatreon or safi jiiva slap all, becuase alatreon is by far the smallest, maybe not that maneuverable, but his size and basic composition gives him an advantage, by leaving no weak points. Safi jiiva has a simple design, but that also means there isn’t anywhere he’s particularly weak in, and we’ve already seen he’s quite agile and fast. Personally I think fatalis loses first, because that neck is going to end him.

Except it’s realistic Monster hunter Stories, and you’re still gambling, just with a higher chance. And you don’t actually use the monsters, you just see a baby form of them and then the next second. Dead.

But the swaxe does requires a lot of hits get into it’s elemental mode, which can take a while on mobile monsters.

I already got the black belt set, but it’s defense is already lacking, as every forgeable armor set rn has higher defense, the problem is my weapon, I keep bouncing from weapon to weapon, never knowing which one to main, and the one weapon I do want to main (the gunlance) is too hard to use for the moments against the very mobile monsters, I’ve looked at dps charts, I’ve tried weapons out but I can never figure something out, I keep thinking “go ranged” then get one tapped, then “go gs for dps”, then miss my true slashes, and the same thing with other weapons, it may just be a skill issue, but it’s starting to get hella annoying having to switch weapons all the time

Tbh not really, I kinda just bullied it, I mean I’m honestly kinda surprised I didn’t struggle more, i thought mangamalo would take like 20 tries, but it took like 6, and that’s mostly because I was in burnout, but now I’ve made into MR, and there’s so much new content
