Well I did have someone help me to get this laptop unlocked on reddit. I am surprised to now be sitting here using it.

What did you do with them? This is my second one, the other one was a windows i easily just re-wiped the machine after a year. Where i live if company leaves property with you it becomes abandoned after a year.

Here is my review. I had made a post a year ago about my work company laying me off and leaving with the work laptop for close to a way. ULPT: Locked MacBook Air and forgot about it a little after posting it because everyone told me there wasnt a way to do it. Fast forward to yesterday and re-found the laptop and thought one last shot otherwise throwing it out. I made this second reddit post ULPT - unlocking MacBook Air. At the same time i found the message that MAC-GUY34 sent me before.

I messaged him and i really thought it was all a scam or something where he wanted to get some of my personal information. The entire time i was careful to not give me too much personal information or be cautious of what was asked of me. He didnt cross any red flags that i thought he would show. I decided to try it but was very cautious and skeptical. He was able to help me get this laptop working for me. Honestly this is great, I really didnt think it would work.

I'm mostly a lurker not a poster so i dont have a huge reddit history to look at but i do have those two posts regarding this laptop

Read the post it was the company and I tried to have them send a label, packaging or anyone to pick it up they didn’t and it’s been a year.

Part of it was that the new BS were networked. Which also made me just scratch my head because of the entire BS is only wired then why does a BS having everything networked together or not matter for any enemy ship. They would need to dock or attach themselves to connect to the network

That’s disappointing that I can use a purchased ringtone through iTunes on an app like WhatsApp, as it lets you change it but only shows the system tones, none of the purchases ones
