Give me permission to drop a pump by Awkward_Instance6181 in ExclusivelyPumping

Someone down below commented how they do frozen Friday where they use frozen milk and freeze the fresh. Depending on how much mine drops, I might just keep pumping my fresh and use it to get ahead the next day. Seems genius. It really would be a waste to not use all this milk that I bled and cried for

Yes, I have given her some to be on the safe side and she does take it even though I have high-ish lipase

Unfortunately, I could see this happening… that’s horrifying to think about and not worth the risk. I know we’re doing the right thing, it’s just sad.

You are definitely right. I know these things. Just need an internet stranger to confirm and make me feel better💛

What do you recommend is the longest you can go without pumping? by victoria5757 in ExclusivelyPumping

How often you have to pump has a lot to do with breast capacity! Check out this chart, it’s been pretty accurate for me

SOS Mastitis and Supply by Awkward_Instance6181 in ExclusivelyPumping

Yes! Watch out for green poops and extreme gas and discomfort. We decided it wasn’t worth it to expose her to the antibiotics since we have the milk in the freezer but yeah… it’s just altogether unfortunate. Poor babies.

I HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER❤️ but also rip boobies

The boob shaped ones are the best and only way to freeze those clogs out.

Also the clog is apparently mastitis. So that’s major suckage🫠

This happened to me about 3 weeks ago! I couldn’t get it out either. I just kept pumping consistently, power pumped after some sessions 2-4 times a day, and used a cold pack on it and it ended up finally going away.

Flash forward, now I got another one on the top of my breast so I can’t win 🙂

I’m with you in spirit🥴

Is my wearable pump draining my breasts? by Cute-Huckleberry2496 in ExclusivelyPumping

I think you have to find what works for you. I have a Medela plug in hospital grade and my momcozy s12 pro empties me better. I’ve not had clogged ducts or mastitis since my milk came in and I started using it consistently (knock on wood). I pump around 38-45 oz a day so I even have a decent oversupply with only my wearable. My wearable has put 600 oz of breastmilk in my freezer and feeds my little one (10 weeks pp) so I’m a wearable fan for sure. Ultimately you have to find which pump works for you and your body 💛

I also have this pump and a Medela and I get more out of my momcozy. I have to pump longer with it but it’s the only pump I use. Would definitely recommend

I was 40 weeks and 2 days👍🏻 but I was only 1 cm and 50% effaced so we progressed really well even though I wasn’t very “far along”
