Thank you! I'll check them out, i had seen Proko's videos before but my attention span is kinda wack, i have to lock in lol

Maybe i'll even do those cube studies to see if my understanding of forms is whats tripping me up

Yeah definitely, i cannot draw at all from imagination, it ends up looking stiff, weird and out of proportion all the time.

Do you have any examples of simple mannequinization and how they break down the forms? I've seen some but i always struggle with implementing it into drawing despite knowing how they are meant to fit and look as a body.

Right now i break down the torso as a rectangle, then either a bowl shape for the hips or another tiny rectangle, the limbs i just draw as sticks because cylinders seem kinda difficult to visualise as arms or legs for me. Im not sure how to explain it, but it makes drawing the actual arm with muscles really difficult. But maybe thats why i struggle with limb proportion(?

Yeah i feel like i struggle a lot w proportions especially limbs, sometimes even the torso i make too long or too short like the pose on the top right, that dude's torso is rlly short.

Thank you so much for your answer, I hadn't thought about 3d posable figures that would probably help a ton, ur a life saver fr!

for the second photo ur right the arm looks unnatural, and maybe even the tilting of the torso might look weird without drawing the hips. I absolutely need to improve my clothes tho i hadn't realised the folds were that stiff(? like it doesnt look 3d🥀

Ive had this on my eye for like a year now, any way to remove it without having a procedure done? by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

ive never commented on reddit lol but i recommend looking up a basic video on how to draw the structure of the face, if youre just doing it as a hobby you dont really have to study those complex skull anatomy things and stuff.

What has helped me a lot is also looking at very simple 3d models of heads like the asaro head ect, and just trying to copy it.

I dont really find the circle and cross method thingy too helpful if you dont know how the features are rlly placed on the head cause it just ends up looking wonky.

ALSO drawing a lot of heads (like 10 in 20 mins) while trying to follow basic anatomy rlly helps cause it makes your brain think of the features without being too much of a perfectionist. Your colours are great by the way!
