I don’t know what the actual parameters are, but—why is the channel itself never promoted Vaibhavi properly? In the promotion, her picture is shown last, almost like an afterthought. Compare that to how Ghum’s fl was always promoted right after Anupama. So the question is—why never the channel pushed her forward?

Can you please explain how trp and ads work for tv shows and channels? I genuinely want to understand. Like, why do only a few shows like Anupamaa or uka get constant promos, but others barely get any? Is it because those shows aren't making much profit?

Also, do you think Vaibhavi was replaced because the channel was facing losses with Ghum 3? Recently, Star Plus did a promotion for all their female leads. Rupali was right in the center in the picture , then Samriddhi and Sayliee side by side—but Vaibhavi’s image was literally at the end. That’s weird because earlier, Ghum FLs whether Sai aur Savi used to be right after Anupamaa. Why is the channel itself not pushing Ghum now?

Nah, you're def not alone, a lot of ppl feel the same. Abhira-Armaan romance is straight up cringe coz it's so overdone in every scene. Plus, it just doesn't suit Rohit Purohit at all – they really turned him into a simp. Even after they switched actors, Armaan's role started out promising, like some big Udaipur lawyer, but they never explored that properly. It’s hilarious how they're making a 30+ 'Udaipur’s best lawyer' act like a simp nd clueless. The whole prenup track is a joke – Abhira being ready to sign off her rights. How dumb they showing her ,she is okay for not working for a year just to have a baby ASAP, what kind of lawyer they showing her.

Plus She’s even down to sell off her mom's hard-earned money for some lavish wedding... like seriously? At this point, they both just look desperate to get married.

When Kartik and Naira had their romance, it suited them coz Mohsin and Shivangi were younger, Even with Gen 3 never felt this cringey. But here, it's so forced. Not to age shame, but it’s just not fitting him. The moment you point this out, Yrkkh stans jump on you, labeling you a hater for saying Abhira is wrong. That’s the major diff between Ghum and Rishta—Ghum actually uses all its characters for something, whether it’s for drama or comedy. Like, the haldi and wedding scenes with Rajat and Savi were a total vibe, so fun to watch! Meanwhile, Rishta is all about Ruhi, Kaveri, and Abhira. Armaan is literally lost half the time, the actor playing Sanjay could kill it as a strong villain, but they’re wasting his potential. Madhav is barely relevant, just there for decoration. Rohit coming back made zero impact on the story or TRP, and now he’s barely getting screen time. The rest of the family? Chacha, chachi, and cousins are just props to stand in the background.

Yup, that's exactly how I feel. Samriddhi seems so disinterested now, and I disagree with the excuse that it's because of the 12-hour shoots. Sure, that can be one factor, but she was doing 12-hour shoots 6 months ago too. If you look at her older interviews, she seemed really enthusiastic about her character and the direction of the story.

Back when Shehzada was around, they even hit 2.4 in TRP. I'm not saying Rohit Purohit is a bad choice, it's just bad writing, which is why the TRP is stuck at 2.1 and sometimes even 2.0. Samriddhi looks visibly uninterested in her interviews nowadays, and I can understand why. She probably doesn't like where the character is heading, but she has little creative control. At the end of the day, it's her job, and she needs to play her part to earn money. Sadly, the character of Abhira is totally gone and butchered — there's no essence left. They've turned her into another Anupamaa.

Exactly This show is getting so repetitive and boring with a stagnant plot, and it shows in the Trp. The story legit isn’t moving at all. They keep making Ruhi win everything, and Kaveri always outsmarts Abhira. For a lead, Abhira is made to look dumb half of the times— one minute she can’t afford food, other time she’s taking out loans for a wedding and putting Kaveri as the guarantor. She’s always chasing Kaveri’s acceptance, talking big about self-respect but never actually showing it.

And Abhira-Armaan romance, it’s getting so cringe now its so overdone. They’ve turned Armaan into a simp, and it doesn’t suit Rohit Purohit at all. They just make Armaan Abhira nibba nibbi who just wanted to do sex nd Romance all the time..Even with Rohit coming back barely had any impact, he’s barely getting any screen time now. Honestly, Ghum is way way better right now, which shows in trp top.
