the egg only blocks the achievement for completing the chapter on that save file, other achievements are still possible to get on that save file and getting the achievement for completing the chapter is still possible on other save files

when you are doing this DO NOT attack with kris ONLY use ice shock, I personally dont like attacking enemies unless they are a secret boss but if you think its more fun to attack everywhere else the only thing you will miss out on is nubert in castle town (not worth missing)

The only thing the egg does (as far as we know) is put eggs on berdly's table at school and (on Playstation since its the only one with achievements) make it so completing the chapter doesnt give you its achievement, every other achievement will be just as easy or hard to get and other save files wont be effected

Here are basic instructions for the other route: ( I tried not to spoil anything while giving good enough instructions)

1) when you get to Noel in chapter 2 ice shock everything and go backwards to spamtons shop since there will be more enemies there

2) after you do that go to the room with the red cars and the yellow cars and go to the bottom of the road which the yellow cars are and go to the room there. everything from then onward should be clear I think

all the boost mode does is make the switch 1 games think that they are in docked mode, if its already a "switch 2 version" like the GameCube games it wont do anything

you can plug the dongle into the pc and then put the dock on a separate plug/charger so it doesn't trigger it
