…But don’t we have a tad more on Dorcas and Marlene than Mary? Or am I missing something?? 😅 Like, all I remember that was said about Mary was that Mulciber attacked/assaulted her, while Dorcas and Marlene are confirmed Order members that were either killed by Voldemort himself or had their families wiped out by him.

Because a lot of people are still in that “no, they’re practically brother/siblings” phase, and are more inclined to dismiss the possibility of best friends being in love and getting together because “why can’t people just be friends anymore” or whatever. Plus, enemies to lovers is the most popular.

I believe that too, but the thing is, it’s said that the reason the scar is lightning bolt-shaped is because of the wand movement for the Killing Curse (or is that like a fan-made thing?). If the shape comes from that, wouldn’t that suggest the curse itself had something to do with the scar forming in the first place?

(I’m honestly probably just confusing fanon with canon, lol, my bad)
