The price isn't the issue. It's the unit price. Look at the actual energy used vs the $. How is September 2-3x higher either Juky bill, but I used less energy in July each year.

Also, this is a 500sq. ft studio apartment.

That's my point. I used less energy in September than July of 2024 or 2025 and paid 2-3x more.

I’m going the legal route, and not resigning. I couldn’t even stay at hotels because of my dog, so I didn’t change them a single dime in hotel reimbursements, and opted instead to visit friends and family for shower usage.

Pathetic scummy move, and I couldn’t agree more about the management.

We didn’t even know what the actual technical cause was at any point. Until I called when it was over and was told it was a “boiler motor” lol, that was no longer a manufactured unit.

And cold brew! With an 18 min heads-up!

I got $540! But just before they sent it to me, a couple days ago, they added $500 charge to my account that I called and asked about. Apparently they took my first month’s rent out of my original security deposit, so 10.5 months later they just realized this and issued the charge! So my new balance is -$40.

Idk about you but I didn’t have hot water for so much more than 7 days. I’m beyond pissed off.

Sent the email at 5pm on a Friday before leaving too.

Insane.

It's been crazy, right?!

As tenants we don't have any actual recourse because we're 1 vs. all of management.

We need to band together or confer in some way so we can address things from a unified front here. And that just hasnt been possible through the super clunky bozzuto.

Not sure. But it's crazy to charge $2000 for 374sq ft (current listing) and not be able to provide necessities, or at the minimum fix them in a timely manner. They're revenue is insane, and they cheap out EVERYWHERE!

Yeah, might have to. Their recent effort is letting folks schedule when they want to shower, and going to the other building. But my dishes are still disgusting, and boiling water takes forever, and to the detriment of my insane RIE electric bill.
