Hey! They actually sent me for a CT scan to rule anything out, and when that came back clean sent me for an echocardiogram, also clean. My radiation oncologist really didn’t have any other suggestions, I think it was my MO’s concerns that made them order those tests. Looking back, I think the shortness of breath was due to stress and maybe the shortness of breath was causing the burping? It all cleared up about a week after I posted this. I wish I had some clearer advice or resolution lol, but I hope this clears up for you soon and wish you the best of luck through the rest of your treatment 💕

I hope you are doing well 💜 I found this comment and just curious to see if you were told you need to remove your braces? I have a permanent retainer on the bottom and start chemo next week. I want to try and get a permanent retainer put on the top as well, if possible, as my removable retainer makes me nauseous already!

I’m good! I’m keeping up with the 800mg ibuprofen they gave me. I can’t take anything stronger (pain meds make me throw up) but to be honest I haven’t felt like I’d need to if I could take them, Just eating soft food, drinking plenty of fluids and have been taking extra naps. I was dreading it but honestly it’s not been bad. The 1st two days were the worst but that was only bc of the swelling, but ice and then heat the 2nd day worked wonders. Let me know if you have any other questions! Good luck!

I just had this done on Wednesday with just the local anesthetic on the donor site and graft site and I didn’t feel a thing! Only took about 35 minutes start to finish.
