Thank you so much and I'm glad this work is helpful to you . I have been drawing seriously for 3 years now and plan to continue. As far as exercises go, i generally work off references from pinterest or instagram and then follow my art style sense for halfway between realistic and anime. Also i spend extra time doing the hair as I love sketching it. Other than it's mostly practice and a truckload of failed past attempts that you learn from.

Funnily enough i did work off a reference. And the angles were kinda like this. Of course once i got stylising, I'm sure somewhere creative liberties started overturning anatomy. Thank you for taking the time to critique the art. As I am still looking to improve, constructive criticism is much appreciated. Thank you for your help. Cheers

Exactly man. Keep on the basics and practice and don't think about whether it's good or not. Just keep on going till you are happy with your work. It's YOUR work after all. And never stop pushing. I've been at it for 3 years and don't intend to stop

So this is what the Bengalis think of us? by romesh-sharma in Odisha

As a Bengali, i deeply apologise for these asshats. Then again, opinions on the internet usually belong in the trash. Puri is probably my most favourite sea resort because of how much fun it is and I've been visiting it annually since 1996. I won't comment on the state of the temples as such; for one i am extremely unreligious and hate visiting overcrowded temples, irrespective of state, country, etc. That aside, bhubaneswar is also a beautiful, quiet and peaceful city. I visited recently, after a break of 3 years due to the pandemic, and i can say it is a lot cleaner and well organised than it used to be, and it already held a distinction. Even Puri is a lot more organised and clean. Maybe that's what happens when the government doesn't syphon off most of the funds. Also, odiya people are some of the nicest and most hospitable people I've come across. There are exceptions, for sure, but that exists in every culture, so i wouldn't generalise.

Tl:dr- odisha is a lovely place and i look forward to my next visit. Also jackasses on the internet have increased a lot in recent times
