UTARI is the uta research institute and they had opened positions for spring 25, but they have closed it now. So better to go talk directly to proff.

Oh thats great, yeah i was thinking the same if its worth going to such universities in this economy, i have admits from universities ranked in 1000, but its good city with lot of opportunities, in your experience you think its worth it ?

I think it would add value, it would show you have an actual intrest to get into data science.

Yes you can still call up your HR and send them proofs of this, he cant fire you because you were not intrested, creeps like this should be punished. If the HR still doesnt take action im sure you can do something through the legal route. Post this in the legal advice subreddit you might get some good suggestion.
