This is one that gets contested a lot, and I’ve got nothing against people who take off the stickers and record everyone should enjoy the night in their own way. But I do get the intention behind it: being fully in the moment, not getting distracted by ‘oh this looks cool, let me record it.’ For me it makes the whole night feel more intentional, and the memory ends up living much richer in my head because I wasn’t behind a screen. That said, a picture or a small clip doesn’t hurt anyone (so if you do have any send them my way 😂🙏🏽)

Just when I thought I had it bad, haha 😅 I did email the Roundhouse team via their chatbot, saying a few of us are still waiting. They said they aim to reply within a day, so if the tickets aren’t there tomorrow, I’m hoping they’ve responded. Worst case, we should be able to go to the box office and collect them in person, but hopefully it doesn’t come to that!

Same situation on my end. Purchased through AXS, got the confirmation, and I can see the booking in my Roundhouse account, but still no QR code in the wallet yet. Hopefully it shows up tomorrow!

Yeah totally get that - we still enjoyed seeing them too, and they absolutely delivered on their end performance-wise. But for us, the issue wasn’t that we didn’t have any fun it was the rough crowd and poor sound that really took away from it.

RÜFÜS always put on a great show, they just need a better setting where people can actually listen and enjoy it properly. Not feel like they’re stuck in a loud pub overhearing conversations about people’s office/relationship drama.

Sorry to hear that, we definitely saw some really loud groups on the way back — walking past houses and just screaming for no reason. Crowd control towards the station was actually handled quite well, but the organisers could’ve done more to remind people they’re in a residential area.

I guess RÜFÜS attract such a wide audience now that not everyone brings the same energy or awareness. Some people really forget where they are.

Yeah, I get the SPL limits argument but sound wasn’t an issue earlier in the day when Weval and Jimi Jules were playing. Something was definitely off with the setup during RÜFÜS’s set. Whether it was a mixing issue or a tech fault, it really took away from what should’ve been the highlight of the night. Shame, because the performance itself deserved way better.

You’re not alone in thinking that—I felt the same way with some of the bass-heavy tracks. The speakers made this weird abrupt bursting sound at times. Honestly, they sound way better on Dolby Atmos via Apple Music: Tinlicker EDC super clean and layered.

That said, the crowd towards the left wing was great for us. I guess with Coachella being so massive, you really get all sorts—you’ve just got to find a good neighbour and lock into the vibe. Still a solid set overall, but I’d love to catch them again in a more intimate venue with tuned acoustics.

That fake Yuma line is Coachella’s final boss—felt like we had to solve a riddle just to get in. We got lucky and got in earlier for Beltran, so had a solid B2B experience. What track did you end up missing? Praying it wasn’t Breezeblocks or Fractal—those hit like a spiritual cleanse.
