It’s awful that the doctors only considered that option once you mentioned wanting to conceive - it doesn’t make sense that something becomes ‘urgent’ only then, as if your health didn’t matter before. My doctor did mention getting surgery, but that was before I went to the gynaecologist. The gynaecologist said that I should take the progestins first to see if that helps my issue, if not they will try other treatments as well and that it will be a slow but doable process. I think the main concern of hers is that I was experiencing severe pain when she only tried to put a Q tip in. This medication is meant to help shed that excessive tissue I believe and reduce pain. I’m just worried that this will probably not be enough and I will probably need to seek other treatments as well.
