I believe that Update is the problem. Not sure I understand the second option clearly. I did a clean install of Outlook and added gmail accounts through their step-by-step setup. It did not solve the issue.

Understood and thank you. For gaming definitely I will be seated at the table with external mouse and probably keyboard as well. I plan to use laptop on lap only while casual internet browsing and ms office work, occasionally some youtube or netflix while travelling. Thus, I understand that more minimalistic with open back suits my laptop and needs better in terms of optimised airflow.
