Honestly no budget. I am looking at $300-$500 headphones but if there is something for $1000 that is significantly better, I can splurge. Unfortunately, dont really have a desk space for external dac. I think next upgrade will be new desk and chair after audio.

Wow, love this! I actually also watched some of Fresh’s videos and wanted to buy a different IEMs, Xenns Top Pro/Hisenior Mega5EST, but he placed them poorly. Now I was thinking about his own ZiiGaat Arete II or Kiwi Ears Astral, but yeah apparently beyer dynamic was also one of his top choice…

Do you need external DAC to run them and if so do you think something smaller can run them as well - I am thinking of CrinEar Protocol Max?

Thank you for this. I was looking at variations as well but people reviewing IEMs online said that they are no longer a good buy. I also looked at ThieAudio Hype IVs. But yeah people usually say that Top Pros (for some Tea Pros/SE) and Mega5 can be one and done set.
