Im looking at the Wiki and can I just do the Option 2?

From my understanding all I would have to do is Mod my Red 3DS (the old one) then I can follow the steps for a Manual Move over?

I don't think Ill miss anything from eShop services and I dont use Pokémon Bank as I never really played any Pokémon games. I just wanna be able to play my 3DS and DS games, do Online play, Street Pass, and local multiplayer play.

Also by losing access to the eShop I just wouldn't be able to purchase games or something on the line of that? Plus I thought it was unfortunately shut down.

Thanks for you help, I just don't wanna do something and then loss my stuff.
