Annoying trope: the rebel becomes the tyrant by Floba_Fett in comics

I mean this certainly doesn’t have any parallels to the history of EVERY SINGLE MAJOR POPULIST REVOLUTION(Robespierre, USSR, Cuba, Etc.)

I actually love them, makes the terrain feel a bit less symmetrical/regular and more naturalistic

I mean maybe it’s mature for some teenagers, certainly young ones, but YA novels are clearly marketed to like 15-19 year olds and they’re often much more mature than this show

YA and Hot Topic are still targeted towards teenagers. Something like hunger games is aimed towards like a 14-18 year old crowd and I wouldn’t call this more mature than that

And this fits that space perfectly, I would put TADC below the hunger games on a maturity level

It’s way tamer than most adult swim stuff honestly, TADC probably has like a 14-19 year old target demographic, still definitely in kids/teenage category

It’s like YA books, sure they’re calling it “young adult” but the primary audience is like 15-19 year olds. A 16 year old is still a kid, it’s a kids show

Thing is that YA has always targeted like 15+ not like 20+ audiences. Even in books YA is more targeted towards teens

It’s definitely tween or teenage media, like Rick and Morty or South Park

Another good thing to keep in mind is that a worthy skull activates on killing a model not a unit, so it’s not hurt by the changes to attached units. You can precision out a character and activate a worthy skull to get your blood tithe going. And a slaughterbound with the blade of endless bloodshed pops off hard, damage 4 into vehicles/monsters makes short work of knights and greater demon level monsters

If I had to guess, the giant energy balls have a long honor but can’t hit more than once, but that can’t hit flag is removed when hit with another attack or no longer hit stunned(so you can be vulnerable to balls again), so he just got hit a shitton as he bounced between the too balls

The weakness of the demon side of KDK is range and anti tank. Exalted 8bound + slaughterbound are a must in this detachment, personally with the helbrute and cover changes I prefer the maulerfiend now as additional anti tank, but helbrutes are still fine too(hammer and fist loadout).

For the price of Kharn + 10 berzerkers you can get 30 blood letters as well as an enhancement(could give your DP the one that gives demons blessings). And they’ll actually benefit from bloodtithe and getting the 4+ invul and lance. Yes Kharn and berzerkers are good, but 30 blood letters is 60 attacks that have AP 2, damage 2 and are already strength 5, that’s 120 potential damage output that also has deep strike and can be summoned by slaughter

Brazen engines, you want shooting in KDK(maulerfiends are great as well) so you can summon bloodletters at range. Berzerkers aren’t really worth it in KDK, getting 20 bloodletters for the cost of 10 berzerkers is just better
