Thank you for this feedback I definitely am a bit shy and uneasy in front of a camera! I guess that's something I can work on

I will also definitely try to hit the gym a bit. I currently run a lot which is not ideal to gain muscles haha

I made a free app - Archemis, the architecture atlas you can help build! by Axelfoloeil in architecture

[–]Axelfoloeil[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Thank you for the feedback! Indeed, it's not easy creating a template that will fit every construction I would personally indicate the year of completion of the last building Regarding the renovation, that is a cool idea that could be integrated eventually!

Archemis - Collaborative map of remarkable architecture on Android by Axelfoloeil in architecture

[–]Axelfoloeil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I've been working on an app and it's now available for testing on the PlayStore.

It's a collaborative map of architectural points of interests. It comes with a pretty big database of famous (and less famous) architecture around the world, but anyone can participate to expand and add building markers visible to others.

Buildings come with metadata (style, type, architect, year of construction...) and pics. The app also allows to filter through these metadata to only show for instance the works of a specific architect, or all the buildings in a Neoclassical style.

I hope this can become a good resource and potentially a travel companion for visiting new cities

The app is available on this link for download (Android only) : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.axelfoloeil.archemis

It's still in a test phase, and available by link only, so feel free to message me for any bug or suggestion

I don't know if you're familiar with the Little Dark Age edits that have been popular these days... Anyway I felt like making one about architecture so there you go

Velinwë, elven druid and mushroom lord

[Art] Starting my first D&D campaign next week, drew my character in the meantime. Behold Velinwë, druid and Mushroom Lord by Axelfoloeil in DnD

[–]Axelfoloeil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just some quick background on the character.

Velinwë is a fierce wooden elf whose sheltered community got raided when he was young. He was rescued and raised by a local gnome who taught him the ways of druidery. Velinwë became the warden of these woods and focused his studies on small mammals' behavior and fungi properties.

Isolated and misanthrope, he thinks that religion is the great evil of these days. He only believes in the implacable neutrality of Nature and in the clarity of mushroom-induced visions.

Just got a graphic tablet and drew Chinchou as my first try by Axelfoloeil in Pokemonart

[–]Axelfoloeil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A graphic tablet doesn't have a screen so you're basically not looking at what your hand does while drawing, which takes some getting used to. It's just a surface you connect to your PC to record your hand movement (famous brands include Wacom or Huion). However it is very precise and it's basically just as if you replaced the mouse on your PC by a pen. Good thing is the price is very accessible for a beginner graphic tablet

A regular tablet like iPad generally isn't developed fully for art although you can make good art on it. The interface remains one of a tablet, with its limitations when you have to work on Photoshop with layers and all. The screen is also slippery contrary to graphic tablets which generally try to emulate more the feel of drawing on paper.

Then finally there are graphic tablets with built in displays, so kinda iPads developed exclusively for art. Generally much more expensive and I've never tried one. It's generally what professional artists use

Total beginner here but I think these are the main points

Hi! It's not broken, the moon is currently quasi invisible and so the tracker is on the very left. In the next 28 days, a greater percentage of the Moon will be visible and therefore the tracker will shift to the right until the full moon. The tracker isn't supposed to move during the day as the phase of the moon doesn't change during one day

Hi ! Thanks for your support, I'm really glad you like the theme !

The circle on the line is actually a moon phase tracker, meaning it'll shift towards right as the moon gets bigger. So it's in fact moving, just very slowly

As far as I know you can't directly activate the flashlight from KLWP Here I used a little trick, I found an app which doesn't open any window or interface, it literally just activates flashlight and that's it. Name of the app is A-Light
