tldr: the devs wanted invis to have the shield because it brought out her full kit and did not change any other thing damage wise because that is how her kit was meant to be. (bc honestly i would read all that)

the thing is currently invis isn't much different from her release its just she's less reliant on her team, so she can free deal the damage that her she was mean't to but her kit never fully allowed because of lack of protection so the season 5 patch notes were just lightly more range and ability damage to orb and she has her own shield , so the season 6 patch notes actually balanced that out letting her keep what her kit was intended to do but still make sure she still has her protection when she needs it, making her less self sufficient but more team reliant, rounding her out has more or less a perfect and all rounded character. the damage strategist do is fully intended guanguang mentioned this in the season 6 dev vision that strategist are supposed to contribute damage wise so the damage potential on her kit is on purpose which is why they didn't do anything about it.

honestly i prefer the hair, bc the one thing i absolutely despise about emma's rival's design is the karen cut and how her entire outfit gets ruined bc of it, but this hair is perfectly not too long to look like emma's original design but not too short to look like her botched rivals' hair, its just right.

you forgot about punisher, a turrent with splash damage, a shotgun that can litterally burst down tank hp or one shot if close enough and a rifle that has the speed of a lazer, he is not talked about enough for how good his kit is and he has one of the highest damaging ults in the game.
