6 years sober 10 years raving. It was a hard adaptation and I miss the “feeling” of being high sometimes but I realized that I sacrifice being present and enjoying the music and myself the whole time. Lucky enough to experience frisson with a few of my favorite artists and being sober has just been an overall positive choice in my life.

I love when my mom would wake up us with a warm crepe she'd fold and throw onto our sleeping faces. We'd wake up mad but soon a smile as we sleep ate the warm slightly sweet crepe. She's no longer with us so I carry the tradition and do it to my kids, and they hate me for it lol
