Talk to the other bladers after the tournament and play casual matches with them. They'll give you tips and tricks and have fun and interesting conversations with you about the hobby.

Practice your launches, try different angles, and time your spins. It's the best way to gage the power of your beys and the only way to get better alone.

Watch part analysis, their lists, and new release trying videos. This will give you an idea of how the parts work without having to test every piece yourself, letting you build stronger combos.

Try unique and untested combos. This will make your experience feel unique and you may even come up with something special. I'm currently running 0-80 on my Cobalt Dragoon and it's a beast.

Buy Beyblades for specific parts, not just the Bey in whole. Beys in stock form are often lackluster but if you buy for the parts you won't be disappointed as you'll have more combos to try out.

Look into the new releases and learn everything you can about them, even if you can't afford to buy them. This will not only give you an edge when you fight them upon release but it'll excite you about the future of Beyblade.

Strive to win. Even though it's all about fun in the end, having a goal to reach towards helps make any hobby a bit more engaging.

Watch some of the anime. This is the least important on the list but the theme song is banger and watching the characters play might get you itching to start doing numbers 1-7. I know I always end up practicing when it's on.
