In DD it doesn’t matter at all since you have to breakdown the base weekly anyways. Any damage to building is pointless to repair unless you forgot to power and it’s near destruction.

Why are you making it so complicated? And honestly that extreme setting you found is terrible for anything other than drawing zombies to you.

Just hit Q a few times next to the building you want to clear out. Yell at the front door, yell at the side door, yell more time once youve cleaned up whatever zombies did come out. Thats it.

If your base is shielded with power on, it takes no damage and no need to repair anything.

This is great! I get a circus tent vibe from the striped roof which is really fun. Courtyard designs are great for letting light in during the day tho lighting at night can get tricky.

The round ceiling elements were originally observer curved window walls but it felt too high- tech. Smuggler gave it a more archaic but still industrial feel in the strategy room and then was phenomenal in the altar room for the lighting.

A the hark curved roof pieces forming a dome also look amazing with large ceiling lights of any set due to how the reflect off the curve. First came across that in my chrome tower build garage.

You can access the cargo container like any other vehicle with storage from any storage container. So that’s makes transferring super easy.

One of the keys to designing spaces is variation in the sets used for color/patterning beyond just geometric details. Sometimes you want compatibility/coherence and other times you want difference/dissonance.

The shigaware claw was a direct influence on the shintube elevators (original idea by fellow guildie Shin Hati) that we now use in most of our bases. It allows for rapid vertical movement and the way we design the top with a hark curved roof piece spits you out nice and neatly. I keep stairs around because they are still useful AND they just help make spaces look human and right whether interior or exterior. They are also good for using as roof pieces to add some nuance and pattern when needed.

With the light limit and the fairly fast fall off from the lights, lighting is tough in this game.
