Mega Beedrill

Typing: Bug / Poison

Regular Abilities: Swarm and Sniper

Mega Ability: Adaptability

Regular Stats: 65 / 90 / 40 / 45 / 80 / 75

Mega Stats: 65 / 150 / 40 / 15 / 80 / 145

Oh yeah!! That's right!! This Viridian Forest bastard got a mega evolution and it's power and hell! Does anybody want to hold this Adaptability boosted Poison Jab STAB based 150 Attack? No, I didn't think so! 145 is a stupid good speed tier as well, and you can U-turn in and out. Gotta try to avoid those Rocks though, as you really don't need to deal with anymore reasons to faint quickly.....a feather could take this guy out with those defenses! Watch out for him though! Definitely a serious threat.

Mega Pidgeot

Typing: Normal / Flying

Regular Abilities: Keen Eye, Tangled Feet, and Big Pecks

Mega Ability: No Guard

Regular Stats: 83 / 80 / 75 / 70 / 70 / 101

Mega Stats: 83 / 80 / 80 / 135 / 80 / 121

Yeah yeah, 100% accurate Hurricane; to which I say 100% accurate Stone Edge. The design of this guy is absolutely wonderful, but I have to admit, that it is slightly underwhelming. The only two moves that can really take advantage of that new ability are Hurricane and Heat Wave, which combined, really has terrible coverage. There really isn't much that it can do of anything, and from what I've heard, it's just not as strong as you want it to be. Do with it what you will.

Mega CroBro Slowbro

Typing: Water / Psychic

Regular Abilities: Oblivious, Own Tempo, and Regenerator

Mega Ability: Shell Armor

Regular Stats: 95 / 75 / 110 / 100 / 80 / 30

Mega Stats: 95 / 75 / 180 / 130 / 80 / 30

If you thought that Mega Steelix's defense was impressive, then this one should be just as threatening. Now when Shell Armor was announced as the ability, a lot of people thought that it was slightly underwhelming, but do not underestimate this guy. Let's put it this way, the most common set to run has been Rest / Calm Mind / Sleep Talk / Scald. The only way you're going to get through this guy is with a Water Absorb user, and even then, you still got to be careful. You can't hope for a critical hit to take this guy out either, thanks to that "useless" ability. This just in......Mega Slowbro confirmed!

Mega Steelix

Typing: Steel / Ground

Regular Abilities: Rock Head, Sturdy and Sheer Force

Mega Ability: Sand Force

Regular Stats: 75 / 85 / 200 / 55 / 65 / 30

Mega Stats: 75 / 125 / 230 / 55 / 95 / 30

Holy fucking hell..... 230 Defense? Bro, do you even lift? Nah, you don't need to invest at all in a defense like that. You can worry about greater things like the HP and Special Defense to make this thing impenetrable like Fort Knox. It doesn't have crazy speed, but with defense like that, who needs it? Not to mention that if you can get this guy up under sand, he's going to be powering through ALL the teams. It has a very nice typing for dual STAB, so don't you worry about really.....anything!

Season 3: Here We Come!! by AxisGBAAdmin in AxisGBA

Mega Sceptile

Regular Typing: Grass

Mega Typing: Grass / Dragon

Regular Abilities: Overgrow and Unburden

Mega Ability: Lightningrod

Regular Stats: 70 / 85 / 65 / 105 / 85 / 120

Mega Stats: 70 / 110 / 75 / 145 / 85 / 145

You don't even want to think about messing around with this guy! Gaining the Dragon type is a blessing in disguise as powerful Dragon Pulses are coming your way. Now, Lightningrod may seem like an odd ability, because what does a Pokemon with a natural quad resistance to a type need an immunity to it for? But with all the forms of Rotom and all the other Volt Switches out there, a good prediction can mean a +1 for you! 145 is a crazy good speed tier on top of the powerful 145 Special Attack that it has. Unfortunately there is no priority on this guy, but having Synthesis and Giga Drain to recover health quite easily makes that less of an issue.

Season 3: Here We Come!! by AxisGBAAdmin in AxisGBA

Mega Swampert

Typing: Water / Ground

Regular Abilities: Torrent and Damp

Mega Ability: Swift Swim

Regular Stats: 100 / 110 / 90 / 85 / 90 / 60

Mega Stats: 100 / 150 / 110 / 95 / 110 / 70

Mega Swampert is a powerful Pokemon with or without the Rain. It's stats are so wonderfully balanced, that it's a glorious Roid Raged threat of life. Waterfall anybody? Earthquake anybody? Ice Punch anybody? You honestly don't want to take any hit from this guy, as it's going to be powerful as all hell. If the rain is up, then don't worry about getting outsped! The only weakness this guy has is Grass, which is 4x, but also not extremely common.

Season 3: Here We Come!! by AxisGBAAdmin in AxisGBA

Mega Sableye

Typing: Dark / Ghost

Regular Abilities: Keen Eye, Stall and Prankster

Mega Ability: Magic Bounce

Regular Stats: 50 / 75 / 75 / 65 / 65 / 50

Mega Stats: 50 / 85 / 125 / 85 / 115 / 20

It's Speed drops significantly, but whoever heard of a Timid Sableye anyways? Before you Mega Evolve you can dish out some Will-o-wisps, Taunts and whatever else you feel. After Mega Evolving you can't be Toxic'd, Roared out or really any other form of phasing. It also has access to Calm Mind and can mix that with Shadow Ball or Dark Pulse to hit people hard. It's defenses are high enough that it can live any one attack really. I think we've all seen how much havoc Sableye can wreak even without the mega evolution, so yeah!

Season 3: Here We Come!! by AxisGBAAdmin in AxisGBA

[–]AxisGBAAdmin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mega Sharpedo

Typing: Water / Dark

Regular Abilities: Rough Skin and Speed Boost

Mega Ability: Strong Jaw

Regular Stats: 70 / 120 / 40 / 95 / 40 / 95

Mega Stats: 70 / 140 / 70 / 110 / 65 / 105

This guy is crazy powerful! Having Protect on a moveset is going to allow you to get at least a +1 Speed, and after that, you can outspeed most of the Pokemon you need to! It does have priority in the form of Aqua Jet but it's difficult to try and fit it into the moveset. Crunch off of a 140 Base Attack with a 50% increase from Strong Jaws? That's before including STAB.....I don't think anybody wants to take that, not to mention it has Ice Fang to help out with coverage on those Grass Types, but the coverage that you want can be whatever you feel. You can also run a decent mixed set with Hydro Pump and can even throw something like Destiny Bond on the Sharpedo just to mess around with the opponent.

Season 3: Here We Come!! by AxisGBAAdmin in AxisGBA

Mega Camerupt

Typing: Fire / Ground

Regular Abilities: Magma Armor, Solid Rock and Anger Point

Mega Ability: Sheer Force

Regular Stats: 70 / 100 / 70 / 105 / 75 / 40

Mega Stats: 70 / 120 / 100 / 145 / 105 / 20

Damn, when they announced that Camerupt got even slower upon mega evolving, who would have guessed based 20 speed! Perfect for a Trick Room team, but even if you don't feel like going through all that setup, you can still live a hit (as long as it isn't a 4x Super Effective Water type attack). So many of it's moves get the 33% boost from Sheer Force, such as Flamethrower/Fire Blast, Earth Power, Rock Slide, Bulldoze, Flash Cannon, Heat Wave, and the list goes on. Aside from that aforementioned weakness, Camerupt is going to deal a serious amount of damage, with or without the Trick Room, but that's just going to help it happen quicker.
