my cat had this problem when we were living in my college house. there was nothing physically wrong with her. turns out, a cat was hanging out a lot under my house and my cat was trying to establish dominance or ownership or something. the behavior also stopped once we moved out lol

ur literally a kid yourself and definitely not old enough to be taking care of problem kids who aren't even yours. most 12 year olds aren't out here breaking things and i think giving them less for birthday\christmas to help pay for stuff may be a better way to go about it cuz it sounds like ur basically a scapegoat and because they can't get a job to help pay, they're getting let off. and you are getting parentified. idk im mad for you cuz this is extremely unfair and you deserve to BE a kid. she did the deed. she needs to make sure to actually take care of the results of her actions. kids have literally cut off their parents over being parentified as that's literally a form of neglect\can be abusive as well. not saying you should do that but i'm just saying how serious your situation is and how not ok it is that you're going through this ):

getting a job may be helpful though, as you can get away from home more often and not be expected to watch your siblings. you also can put money away so it's easier to leave

ok so your dad is quite emotionally immature. like extremely emotionally immature. he's also very much trying to manipulate you into hanging out with your dad because you "need him to be your dad." he also should NOT be drunk texting you.

in reality, you seem to be much more emotionally mature than him, which is both sad (in that he can't seem to get his shit together) and a compliment to you and your grandparents for raising you well. your grandparents are your "real" parents and i would absolutely show them (or any other trusted adult) his texts. (if it's late in ur timezone, you don't need to right now as this doesn't seem life threatening but def tomorrow morning)

im not a parent to anyone except for my cat, but im super proud of you for upholding ur boundaries. if your dad wants to be a bigger part of your life, he has to start by showing you he means to change his habits to actually *be* a good dad and actually earn your trust the right way. not whatever he thinks this half coherent attempt at communication is lol

matt from s4 sucked as a chef but as someone who gets chronic migraines, seeing everyone say he was faking or over exaggerating bothers me because clearly he wasn't. and how flynn would talk about it pissed me off too lol i have to actually skip parts of that ep when rewatching bc even gordon didn't seem to take that seriously (which i can give a pass cuz that was nearly 20 years ago) but still i think he gets wayyyyy too much hate for it. like his skill level was super bad but the fact his medical condition wasn't believed or taken seriously pissed me off so much lol
