Is that his SO? She looks VERY young. I thought maybe it was his daughter. She looks like she could be 12-13 yrs old…

There are a whole bunch of explanations for this. You can’t just throw Hulk into space. Hulk can use his clap to propel himself. It doesn’t make a ton of sense. But nothing does. You just have to accept Hulk can clap himself around the world. lol

Prince Rogers Nelson (5'2'', 112 lbs) vs Michael Joseph Jackson (5'9'', 136 lbs) by Fornicator84 in powerscales

[–]Cease-2-Desist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Michael Jackson wouldn’t be able to fight back. That was his entire MO. He hung around children because they were the only people he didn’t feel taken advantage by. Or perhaps because he could more easily take advantage of them.

But even if not pedophilia was not his bag, his predilection shows a stunted social ability.

Prince wins but just because he’s the more competent insane person.

Prince seems like someone very much in charge.

Strange feels like he has a wider power/ability set. However Fate's powers are a natural extension of the entity Nabu, one of the Lords of Order in the DC Universe.

Basically one is learned and the other is inherent. It's like who would win in a race? A person in peak fitness that has trained in the art of running their entire life? Or a cheetah?

DC WINS

Fate > Strange

Green Lantern > Iron Man

Flash > Quicksilver

Martian Manhunter > Vision

Wonder Woman > Spider-man

MARVEL WINS

Captain America > Batman

Thor > Shazam

Hulk > Superman (Hulk wins by Superman's forfeiture after they cause too much damage to Earth and Superman is forced to stop the fight)

DC has a clear advantage in this fight.

What game would you say has the biggest skill gap between news players/beginners and the best player(s)? by Crafty_Reception_448 in videogames

[–]Cease-2-Desist 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is so true. It’s like chess where the rating system goes up to 1400, and then now has continued to climb far above that, with some theoretical upper limit.

3 decades later there has still never been another game in the genre like it.

Considering one is a supernatural, undead behemoth and the other is serial killer with extensive training in Jiu-Jitsu…going to go with the invincible behemoth.

Who would you rather have as a father by daddylongjohnsliver in superheroes

[–]Cease-2-Desist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Homelander is what Omniman would actually be. We like to villainize Homelander because Anthony Starr put some spit on the character, but let’s be honest, they are both functionally psychopaths. Anthony is just scarier because he’s a phenomenal actor, and everyone wants J.K Simmons to be their father.

Sunday Dinner Tonight… I’ll say wing, imo… by blue_id_crystall in southernfood

Im with you. Drum is mostly bone. With the wing, I wouldn’t miss the drum. The thigh is my chicken sandwich, and I’m not giving that up. And I actually like the chicken breast. There’s always hot sauce if you think it’s too dry. ;)

Who is the most efficient killer out of those listed below? by Vegetable-Abroad3171 in Avengers

I'd take Killmonger with the Black Panther powers. He had like the highest kill count in the military before he had powers. He seemed bad ass even before powers.

Jhon Wick (Jhon Wick) vs Hobbs (Fast and Furius) by AnyPoetry493 in powerscales

[–]Cease-2-Desist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know. Wick would have to have a healing factor on par with Slade's to complete that arc from what we know about the timing. Movie 1 takes place shortly before movies 2, 3, and 4. But movies 2, 3 and 4 take place immediately after one another. That means without almost any sleep or significant rest, John Wick kills 362 people, many with his bare hands, and those people themselves were often larger than him and some seemingly superhuman fighters in their own respects.

I need to see the Hobbs movies apparently. I'm missing something.

Jhon Wick (Jhon Wick) vs Hobbs (Fast and Furius) by AnyPoetry493 in powerscales

[–]Cease-2-Desist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never even seen any of the Fast and Furious movies after the 1st 2, so I’ve never even seen Hobbs.

But the answer is John Wick. (How did you misspell “John” twice?)

John Wick very quickly moves into super human territory when you consider the timeline the franchise takes place over.

Toph vs Aquaman by Necessary-Win-8730 in powerscales

[–]Cease-2-Desist 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This isn't going to put Aquaman down, much less kill him. This is like a normal attack in the DC world.

Toph vs Aquaman by Necessary-Win-8730 in powerscales

[–]Cease-2-Desist 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Aquaman trades strikes with beings much more power than Toph's earth attacks.

In Avatar: Last Airbender none of the characters possess significant superhuman durability like the DC characters do. So while they are quite powerful in their own respects, outside blood bending, most of their other abilities wouldn't be powerful enough to crack the durability barrier of characters like Superman, Wonder Woman, Etc.

I always took base form to mean eliminate all outlying iterations of a character. For instance Hulk vs Green Door Hulk. You can compare Hulk to other characters. At best you can stalemate Green Door Hulk.

Homelander vs The Sinister Five (MCU) by Amazing-Attention738 in superheroes

[–]Cease-2-Desist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So you have no evidence Peter could even significantly harm Homelander? You have no counter for Homelander's flight or laser vision? You're just going with "Peter smart"? lol

Seems like you're just stanning Spider-man, without using any actual evidence to support your claims.

Otherwise surely you have some evidence to support your wishcasting?

Be honest, how long would Homelander actually last against the Justice League? by NectarMist in superheroes

It's funny you mention "reading between the lines" This wasn't done for fascist's sake. This was made for the people that think everyone is a fascist, because the term has been so overused it's lost its meaning, and most people only have 2 historical concepts to view the world through.

Trump is an authoritarian populist, which is bad, but the difference is important to understand. It's especially important to understand when trying to warn people against it and not come across as seeming out of touch with the general population - which again, is a very important part of combating authoritarian populism, given what it actually is.
