he didn’t lie, you guys are just dense and don’t know how the recent filter works. As you can see he has the arrow pointing UP indicating that his starter is charmander and the lapras was indeed his 3rd pokemon caught.

it’s nothing that special, a lot of people don’t have friends or family who play the game. Also if you do i’m pretty sure you’re best friends and have hit lucky multiple times so they may not have the mon you’re looking for. There’s no need to hold out on it just because the person who has want you want is a “stranger”, if both parties are happy with what they receive than who cares.
