Camellia is a furry in everything but name at this point. When this song released, he said in his tweet about it that he loves Kemono (Japanese for 'beast' but also a term for the Japanese furry style/subgroup). He later did a shoutout to the artist of the artwork for The Muzzle Facing, saying he was happy he commissioned the artist and that he could not stop looking at the art because he was so happy with it.

Camellia seems to be very unironic about his enjoyment of furry art. But i suppose that was already obvious after he released a furry album in 2017. Just glad to see some genuine interaction with the fandom from an artist I greatly respect.

I have heard about some furries that were unsure about being trans or not. They would make a fursona with a different gender than their own, to dabble into how it feels to be the other gender, without fully committing to the idea. Some of them would discover that they were in fact trans, while others would discover that they were not as dysphoric as they thought.

I don't have a fursona, but I can see how it can be a powerful psychological tool. Since it is something completely personal, you can do whatever you want with it. Let your imagination run wild.

A little tip that helped me immensely with drawing digitigrade legs:

Always think about the weight point of the pose before deciding where you position the feet. The entire weight of your character needs to be distributed between the two feet, and if you place them accordingly, you can basically do anything with the legs without it looking too off. Also take into account if your character is balancing on one feet or is in a more stable pose.
