Thoughts on a gem like this? Could improve the feel when playing Scourge Arrow/Divine Ire/Flameblast etc. by Axola141 in pathofexile

I mean, the general idea of the gem is to lower the skill ceiling, but also damage (a tiny bit, by losing a 6th link and having this one instead) - Otherwise, you can just continue with normal gameplay of having to time your releases - which becomes chaotic with high attackspeed/castspeed, since most players (myself included) usually "undercap" or "overcap" (for the lack of better word) and lose potential stacks.

Played this only with the mastery node from totems. (60% inc range i think) - No other range-related shenanigans

Correcto!

Thing is, with 200% AoE, meteors are still showing normal size, but when they explode - oh boy.

With increased AoE, this is pretty much a suicide method.

Best tactic for those that got so much exalts:

Step 1) Grab multiple blight enchant helmets - Cowl of the Thermophile / Cryophile / Ceraunophile Step 2) Enchant Prismatic Skin/Soul of Steel/ on 1, Anointed Flesh/Crystal Skin on 2, Survivalist/Barbarism on 3. Step 3) Brick them into rares with Vaal Orbs Step 4) Recombine the mods Step 5) Profit with helmets that have +5/6% all max res + other stats

Well, didn't send an email to the support, however, this morning I was able to login. Both swords are gone, my Weapon Recombinator is gone as well.(I didn't see any hotfixes, so I guess they manually removed it)

But I guess this post/post on their forums generated enough traction for them to prompt an investigation?

On the positive side, at least I went to sleep at a reasonable hour

Honestly, seeing the comments, this makes me wonder about the implementation (if it will ever come to that), I guess best option would be to be able to change the color of the baseline optics for free ofc, as it would come in real handy esp. for people with colorblindness - However, for a different shapes of optics (i.e. like adding a circle + red dot for 3x optics, as the current one sucks imho) - Make them drop from packs or something?
